NM CASA and the Transgender Resource Center of NM for the Trans 201 held training on June 26, 2024. If you attended the Trans Cultural Fluency training, you deepened your knowledge, and expanded it further.
Trans 201 briefly reviewed topics covered during the Trans Cultural Fluency training, including assigned sex, gender, and sexual orientation. After the review, the training delved deeper into subjects such as nonbinary identities, intersectionality, effective allyship, and the experiences of individuals who detransition, exploring what this means and the reasons behind their choices.
